The<a href="peptide-synthesis.html">Peptide Synthesis and DNA Sequencing</a> facility works to provide quick and convenient services to scientists from both academia and industry. Our ongoing scientific oligonucleotide relationships with technical consultants associated with the major instrument companies; our many contacts protein sequencing in the academic world synthesis and our hands-on experience, enable us to provide research scientists with reliable products and results. Established in 1987 under the direction of Michael Berne, the facility has grown from a one-man operation to a team of MALDI six, with experience in PCR polymerase chain reaction both academic and industrial research. The Core Facility has become an integral part of the on-going research performed at Tufts and 95% of our customers have been referrals by researchers who have used the services of the facility over the years. We currently offer Peptide Synthesis DNA Sequencing the services listed to the left and in the upcoming months LC Mass Spectrometry with nanospray will be offered as a new service. Our facility, instruments and computer software are constantly upgraded to meet the challenging needs of the research scientist.
